Idea Central is a web-based application designed to help organizations maximize the benefits from the creativity, expertise and knowledge of employees, customers, suppliers and other trusted third parties. The software contains specialized features to help focus idea generation towards strategic business objectives, and to capture, develop and share those ideas across an organization, in a secure manner. Idea Central also provides a state-of-the-art review process designed to elicit high quality insight and evaluations from decision makers, with minimum administrative overhead.
A customer's innovation infrastructure is based around the core Idea Central software, covering ideation, collaboration, evaluation and workflow, and complimented with add-on modules that extend the functionality and use of the system. The software code is common across all our customers, allowing all clients to benefit from new releases. The software contains a configuration layer that enables clients to customize their environments easily to meet their current and future requirements, whilst at the same time limiting the need for any customer-specific code and reducing our cost of support.
Technology
Our software is designed for access via the standard web browsers, allowing for almost instant deployment. The system can either be installed on the customer's server or hosted on one of Imaginatik's secure web servers. We offer a variety of security and integration options for hosted customers, and 65% of our clients are hosted, including Fortune 100 companies.
In addition to our fully licensed software, we also offer a short-term rental version of Idea Central and selected modules. This Event Package is an attractive option for companies who wish to experiment with Idea Management software before embarking on a full-scale implementation.
