Our Client
The Proplo platform was developed in collaboration with PROPRO using a venture building model, enabling a strategic and organized approach that minimized the risks typically associated with traditional startup development. Seeing the growth potential in Poland’s interior design market, already significant and projected to expand further, we collaborated with the client to create a solution that effectively captures this opportunity.
Challenge
Through comprehensive market analysis, client interviews, research, and workshops, we identified several potential product and service development paths within the interior design sector. The client chose to develop a platform connecting interior designers with clients seeking their services. Our objective was to validate this concept, ensuring it met the needs of both groups while creating a viable management and ownership model within our proven venture building framework.

Objectives
The primary objective was to validate the platform concept and build a functioning solution that addresses market demands. In the Proof of Concept phase, we aimed to verify the concept’s commercial potential. The next step involved developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to test the platform’s core functionalities and facilitate initial interactions between designers and clients. Gradually scaling and expanding the user base was crucial for the platform’s growth and long-term market adaptation.
Key Actions
We implemented Human-Centered design and Lean Startup methodologies, adapting our approach to the project’s specific requirements.
In the Calibration stage, we built an expert team and assessed business opportunities, analyzing designer services, client needs, and market trends. We prepared a comprehensive report with market data, competitor analysis, client and designer segmentation, and an initial business model.
During the Proof of Concept phase, we conducted in-depth user and designer interviews and developed prototypes to validate the concept efficiently. This phase concluded with a refined business model and a robust action plan for the MVP phase.
In the MVP phase, we launched the first version of the platform, enabling users to set up profiles, search for designers using filters, and initiate contact through a streamlined process. We also established Proplo’s brand identity, including tone of voice and communication guidelines focused on inclusivity. Additionally, during the MVP phase, we worked on refining a scalable and profitable business model for Proplo to ensure sustainable growth and long-term success.
I would definitely recommend Proplo to a friend if they were looking for an interior designer, it’s much more convenient than Google.
Results
The MVP phase enabled us to validate our hypotheses swiftly and cost-effectively. We developed a platform that addressed the needs of both clients and designers, leading to the publication of 62 profiles and generating 3,626 website visits within the first two months post-launch. During the platform’s development, we also focused on refining a scalable and profitable business model for Proplo. During the development of the platform, we also focused on perfecting a scalable and profitable business model for Proplo. This approach ensured customer satisfaction and secured future product development.
